If you're using Windows XP with service pack 2, enable ActiveX controls by following these instructions:
• Click the Start menu, then Control Panel.
• Double-click Internet Options.
• Click the Security tab.
• Click the Internet icon, then click the Custom Level button.
• Make sure that ActiveX controls and plug-in settings are all set to "Enable".

Automatic Prompting to ActiveX controls – Enabled.
• Download Signed ActiveX controls – Enabled.
• Download unsigned ActiveX controls – Prompt.
• Initialize and script ActiveX Controls not marked as safe – Disabled.
• Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins – Enabled.
• Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting – Enabled.
• Open Microsoft Internet Explorer.
• Pull down the Tools menu and select Internet Options.
• Select the Programs tab.
• Click the box next to "Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser" and click OK
• Close Internet Explorer.
• Reopen Internet Explorer. A window will appear asking whether you'd like Internet Explorer to be your default browser.
Click "Yes" to change your default browser to Internet Explorer
